It was a pleasure working with Louisa during the four and half years or so she was with Getty Images. In my 35 years in the industry I have worked with many HR professionals and Louisa is right up there with the very best. The calm, efficient and totally professional way she deals with every situation thrown at her (and there were many during her tenure) is exemplary. Her well thought through advice helped and guided me on more than one occasion and I was impressed with the way Louisa embraced the culture of Getty Images and drove so many initiatives across the company from London. She will be particularly remembered for spearheading the Women at Getty group, raising awareness, organising interesting talks and panels, providing learning opportunities for all staff. Louisa raised the profile of the HR team, rapidly building capability, credibility and value across the business.

Louisa is commercial and seeks to understand business challenges and priorities in order to best support from a people perspective and deliver the best outcomes; to this end she attended my weekly sales leadership calls and was respected by my international leaders. She helped me reorganise, coach and develop my Sales leadership team, with the majority taking on wider remits during her tenure. She and her team ran various training workshops to improve leadership capability and skills, and introduced an internal mentoring program with good feedback, all resulting in an increase in internal moves and promotions.

We worked on numerous complex change projects involving multiple jurisdictional, matrix and multi-stakeholder management. One major project included partnering on transforming the global sales business and implementing regionally: introducing new structures, roles, leadership and compensation plans; this resulted in more standardised work processes (with the roll out of SalesForce) and increased profitability and revenue.

Louisa is an asset to any business seeking a people expert and I would highly recommend her as an HR leader and Consultant.
