Louisa Steensma Williamson: Founder and Director
A champion of learning and continuous improvement, I enjoy helping to make change happen and am experienced in building effective relationships with executive teams and stakeholders to drive business strategy and attract, develop, engage and retain key talent.
I’m Louisa Steensma, an HR consultant with a strong background in global human resources leadership.
Living in London, I am part British and part Dutch, have a degree in French with Spanish and am a qualified leadership coach.
I have a proven track-record of delivering commercial and strategically aligned results and am passionate about the role HR plays in benefitting all stakeholders. I like working cross-culturally, within entrepreneurial, creative cultures to help make a difference to individuals, organisations and the wider community.
Before launching Thrive HR in January 2019, I worked around the world; in large corporates such as Morgan Stanley and Diageo, but also in smaller technology and digital media start-ups, including Colt Telecom, Sybase and THQ computer games. Most recently I was Vice President and Head of EMEA HR at Getty Images, providing strategic and operational support, guidance and coaching to leaders and their teams.
My ideal client is an organisation that is growing or changing, perhaps a smaller or mid-sized enterprise that is wishing to review and enhance their people strategies or wanting to coach their HR team and other key talent. I can work independently, alongside your HR or leadership team or with trusted associates, depending on the scope of your project.

I founded Thrive HR Consulting Ltd. to combine my HR experience with my social conscience, partnering with HR, business leaders and trusted associates to create thriving organisations that give back to their local communities. I like to help my clients to live more purposeful, healthy and better lives through fulfilling work. I am passionate about supporting growing organisations, their employees and the wider community to be the best they can be individually and together.
